Matricaria Chamomilla Flower Extract

Also known as: German Chamomile, Matricaria Extract, Bisabolol Source

Chamomile extract contains bisabolol and apigenin, which have documented anti-inflammatory, soothing, and mild antioxidant properties. Bisabolol accelerates wound healing and reduces skin irritation. Widely used in sensitive skin formulations, after-sun products, and eye creams. German chamomile (Matricaria) is more potent than Roman chamomile (Anthemis).
