Niacinamide

Also known as: Vitamin B3, Nicotinamide

Niacinamide (vitamin B3) is one of the most versatile and well-researched actives in skincare. At 2–5% it reduces hyperpigmentation by inhibiting melanosome transfer. At 5–10% it regulates sebum production, minimises pore appearance, and strengthens the skin barrier. It is anti-inflammatory and well-tolerated by sensitive skin. The niacinamide-flushing myth has been debunked in peer-reviewed literature.
