Shea Butter

Butyrospermum Parkii Butter

Also known as: Karite Butter, Shea Karite

Shea butter is extracted from the nut of the African shea tree and is rich in oleic, stearic, and linoleic fatty acids. It provides deep emolliency, mild occlusivity, and anti-inflammatory benefits from its triterpene content. Unrefined shea retains more bioactive compounds than refined. Widely used in body butters, balms, and rich moisturisers.
