Beta-Glucan

Also known as: Oat Beta-Glucan, Yeast Beta-Glucan

Beta-glucan is a polysaccharide derived from oats, yeast, or mushrooms that acts as a powerful humectant and soothing agent. It activates skin immune cells (Langerhans cells), supports wound healing, and reduces redness. Often compared to hyaluronic acid for its hydration capacity, it also has documented anti-ageing effects through collagen stimulation.
