Cocamidopropyl Betaine

Also known as: CAPB, Cocoamidopropyl Betaine

Cocamidopropyl betaine is a mild amphoteric surfactant derived from coconut oil. It is used as a secondary surfactant to boost foam, improve mildness, and condition the skin and hair. It reduces the irritation potential of primary surfactants like SLS. Well-tolerated by sensitive skin and widely used in baby products and gentle cleansers.
